    Sundowner parts

We are considering buying a 79 Sundowner and are concerned about Beech
support. How well is Beech supporting the aircraft. Can you get a
nosegear or wing, etc if you need one?
    Appreciate any insight.

RAPID is so-so on common replacement parts, and many items can also be found through this web site. When it comes to something like a new wing from Beechcraft, it might be cheaper to buy a new Bonanza.

Beech has product support? Raytheon does have limited product
support, but the parts that you list are only found on salvage
birds. What few parts that are available from the factory are quite
expensive and come with long wait times. One huge help is support
from the type club. If you haven't seen it, check out
    www.beechaeroclub.org . I'm an A&P mechanic and Musketeer owner
myself and found the aeroclub to be very useful, especially at annual
    time.
