    Pitot Tube Circuit Breaker

I have the original 15A circuit breaker marked PITOT next to the rotating beacon switch but
no heated pitot tube was ever installed on the plane. Does anyone know what, if anything this
is serving in the plane and can it be used for a strobe switch/breaker instead? Thanks in
    advance. Michael N4781J (1967 A23-19).

Sounds like an antique installation of other equipment.

Really no way that we can remotely know what others have done in the 40 year history of your plane. I suggest getting under the panel with a flashlight and a Volt-Ohm Meter to see what (if anything) is currently hooked to that breaker.
