Hired by a regional airline need to relocate my a232-24 nea

I just got hired by a regional airline flying the CRJ 200 and 700 and
will be relocating from the Northeast to Charlotte NC. I would like to
keep my a23-24 but will need a new place to keep it . I was hoping
some folks from the North Carolina area could give some advice on a
nice airport near Charlotte with affordable tie downs and a good
mechanic nearby. Any info on real estate in the area would be a plus .
As always any info greatly appreciated Vavso

I'm in Charlotte. I keep mine at Wilgrove Airpark (8A6). Cheapest place around in NC. Tiedown is $50/mo. Mechanic on field has Mouse experience (currently selling one he has on field). His rates are pretty good too and appears to be fair ($55/hr I think, have not used him yet).
I "rent" a tie down and put up my own "portable" hangar (

Another nearby location is LANCASTER SC. (KLKR). They have "hangars" (like a car port) for about same price as Wilgrove Tiedown but for me it's an hour drive. I have my mech work done there since the mech USED to work at Wilgrove and moved there (long story). He has much experience on Beech products including my plane so we take it there for annuals.

The other local Charlotte airports are way too pricey for me. (Monroe, Concord, Lake Norman, Linconlton). Alot depends on where you will be living. If on the WEST side, then Gastonia may be a good choice. Don't know anything about it but I could find a contact if needed (know some EAA folks that are there).
