For Part 91 operations, there is only a SUGGESTED TBO. Part 121 and 135
commercial operators would have to follow the manufacturer's guidelines
exactly. They would not be able to use the factory TBO as a suggestion,
    but as a requirement.

The prop OH is recommended at engine OH (12 years or 2000 hours for
Lycoming) -- or as needed for wear or abuse/damage.

We just had ours done after 1800 hours. The prop shop recommended every 500
hours primarily to identify and stop corrosion. There may also be a
requirement based on years. We are in pretty much a corrosion free state
(Colorado) and we do not operate from any dirt fields. After that many
hours and over 20 years the only thing ours required was minor dressing and
painting (and checking for cracks, length, pitch, etc).

Of course, for our Canadian members (and probably anyone not in the US),
    this information is not correct.

In Canada, every 10 years for an inspection, period.

If Constant Speed, overhaul every 10 years
