    I just bought 1/2 of a Sundowner

I just became a new plane owner, at least 1/2. My first plane, will
first one that is airworthy. The last plane we bought was a Sport with
the wrong serial # on the engine. We were lucky the seller refunded our
money. The importance of a pre buy.
This Sundowner is nicer and the same price.
No to work on the pilot ticket.
Just wondering how much most have spent on looking for airplanes to
buy. How many did you look at? This is the 4th and we spent about $2800
total in pre buy inpections. Came real close to getting burned on the
Sport, kind of did the post buy. Thought we would never find a plane,
just keep paying our mechanic. Will now we have a plane and I guess we
    will keep paying a mechanic.

Pay the mechanic, sounds like a pattern here... Ooh, wait, the
mechanics union prevents me from letting that secret out....
    Congratulations.

I was supremely lucky, the Musketeer I bought was the one that I had
work on for 5 years for my best friend. No prebuy necessary, I know
that plane from 1 end to the other, mostly.
