Airports in Knoxville TN and or surrounding areas

Looks like the time has finally come where we are looking to relocate to
start our retirement, we are looking in the Knoxville, TN area.

Are there any members from TN and if so can you enlighten me on the airports
    and hangers for rent?

Are there any small airports in around the area?

Thank you all for your responses.

Monroe County airport in Madisionville, TN is close to Knoxville. It is a small airport , 3500', but they might have a hanger available. Also my airport, MMI in Athens, Tennessee is preparing to build 10 new hangers. Athens is about 40 miles from Knoxville.
    Welcome to Tennessee.

Ah, Serendipity! I too have been considering retirement locations and was thinking Tennessee. Saw a full page add in Flying for an airpark under development adjacent to Scott County Airport (KSCX) web site is http://bigsouthforkairpark.com/. The lot prices looked good $125 -350K until I realized I was looking at TN and thinking in terms of NY real estate prices. Surfing around found median housing costs, outside of the cities, a lot less.

There's an airshow scheduled for 9/15 at KSCX and I was thinking of checking out the area. Plans aren't definite as I may be on crutches for the next couple of weeks.

Any information from folks in the area would be appreciated.

Was at DKX Saturday 8/18 and it is a nice facility adjacent to downtown Knoxville just outside Class C airspace at TYS. Runway 8-26 3500'x75' in good condition. PCL. FBO offers most services and good coffee. Approx. 150 aircraft based there. Don't know availability or cost of hangar space.
