    Sundowner AD's

I am researching the Sundowner (197 for possible purchase. Is there a list of AD's available
    for this aircraft?

    Thanks.

    Sundowner AD's

t-data and atp both are good services. Your local maintenance shop
should be able to help out. Just to get the general AD's take the
model, year and engine model and they can print a generic list that
covers too much. If you don't take up too much time, they shouldn't
charge much to give you a list and text for some of the more important
AD's Every AD list is different depending on the equipment installed
and maintenance performed, so they can't be specific without spending
    some time and costing money.

The FAA allows you to search for FREE. They have a web site with the ADs
kept up to date... As in TODAY.

The modern ADs all have a PDF file you can D/L that has the entire text.

At a minimum you want to search the Airframe, the Engine, and the Prop.

There are also a number of accessories (mags, ignition switches,
carburetors, instruments, etc.) that also may have ADs issued on them.

A complete listing of all the installed equipment for your aircraft is a
    good start.

Note that some of the items will be hard to find because they are listed
under a different name. Some companies have changed hands. Beechcraft >
Raytheon > Beechcraft, Lycoming > Avco Lycoming > Textron Lycoming,
    Marvel-Schebler > Facet > Precision Airmotive, etc.
