The recommended prop overhaul for the Sensenich prop is 500 hours. I had
mine overhauled last year. A check of the prop log showed no previous
overhauls in 32 years and 3700 hours. I picked up 10 mph and 130 RPM after
the overhaul, so it was well worth the $500 cost. I got new decals, too.

The Caspar Labs filter adapter will not fit on a Sundowner. I tried it and
the pictures are on the BAC site. I did move the oil cooler hose from near
the filter screen to below it. This makes removing the screen much easier.
I also figured a way to reduce the oil spillage when cleaning the screen.
After heating the oil, start draining it and go eat lunch. When you return,
the oil screen housing only has a few drops left in it.
