As I understand it, the deal with the door hinges is as follows:

The original hinge stock is something called NAS-40. NAS-40 is
obsolete and mostly unavailable. The modern replacement is MS20001
stock, which you can get at Aircraft Spruce etc. I believe that the
dash numbers are -4 and -5. MS20001-4 for the fuselage, and MS20001-5
for the door. Correct me if I'm wrong, Bob & Mike! The MS20001 stuff
is reasonably price ( as these things go ) because it is a current MIL
standard.

If you buy MS20001, you have to replace both the door and the fuselage
hinge, because it is not compatible with the NAS40. The hinge leafs
are .5" wide on the MS20001, and .6 wide on the older stuff.

If you buy hinge stock from Beech under their part number, you will
get crap. Beech is shipping "folded-finger" hinge stock instead of
"extruded", because it does match the leaf width.
