No date, just talk at this point. A new restaurant (sports bar) has opened
at the Bessemer AL (EKY) airport, and they are ready to have us fly in for
lunch some Saturday.
Bill Morse's Musketeer is based at EKY, so he will be looking forward to
the gathering. I live locally and would like to attend. Former BAC Pres.
Cloyd VanHook from New Orleans has said he'd like to bring "Minnie" up from
NOLA.
So we have a 3 man fly-in so far, with only 1 of us flying!
Who else is interested in your standard Sports Bar fare (they do have a
full bar if you are staying overnight or bring a designated
pilot)? Chicken fingers, buffalo spiced chicken fingers, burgers, hot dogs
and polish sausage, salads, shrimp, hamburger steak, and the usual fried
sides: Fries, onion rings, etc. are what you can choose from.
Let's hear back from you about which Saturday would be a good one.
