    Wing tips

Any good recommendations on wingtips? Last weekend some d!ckhead
taxiing a Pawnee (used for banner towing) clipped my starboard wingtip
on my Sundowner(which was tied down at the time). Hours of work had
gone into that tip to repair, reinforce and repaint the plastic. All
    for nought.

Also have some scratches on the wing surface. My AME stop-drilled the
crack on the tip and put on some aluminium tape, so I'm back in the
air while we sort out a permanent solution. I see Met-co-aire sell
some; what about Beech originals? Any other good ideas? Since the
turkey who hit my aircraft is paying, I am insisting on certified
    parts.

    Wing tips

    Hi Mike,

If you can find them, the Madras tips from Demer aviation are great. No
longer available from them, but there are still some floating around.
Reduces stall speed by about 7 or 8 knots and greatly improve low speed
handling with no sacrifice in airspeed.
