I have noticed recently that the fuel samples taken from the belly
drain are kind of straw coloured if the plane has been parked for a few
days. Tank drains are clean and if you take 5 or 6 samples from the
Belly it does clean it up and you get a nice blue sample. Just
wondering if others have experienced this and if there is any obvious
problem that is developing here. I am thinking rusty fuel lines perhaps
but is that likely?
