    Topic: Cross-Country VFR into IMC

    Date and Time:

    Brief Description:

VFR flight into instrument meteorological conditions (IMC) is a
leading cause of fatal General Aviation (GA) accidents.
Weather is not always as forecast!
Don't get caught in this trap!
This exclusive seminar will re-create an actual VFR-into-IMC flight
    that resulted in an accident.
We will share best practices to prevent this from happening to you.
    Don't miss it! Note:
Statistics indicate that many of these accidents involve instrument
    rated pilots!

The chili fly-in at Wiscasset is indeed a great time. Here's a picture from 2006 when I flew up commercially to attend with Tom Corcoran, Steve Cote and Brian Foote. That day there was a seminar conducted by Garmin and the representative talked about one of their newer products......the Garmin 430! You just can't imagine all the different ingredients the New Englanders put in their chili. But the lobster chili was certainly delicious!

Saw Brian back in February. He has had quite a bit of disruption in his life in recent years but both he and Bert are doing well. He sends his best.
