    Prop weight

We need to have a weight for a prop, model HC-M2YR-18F/F7666A-2R, that
we had on our Sierra prior to the McCauley we now have. If anyone can
provide this information or point us in the right direction it would
    be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Of course Hartzell can help you with that. The Beech equipment list that
came with the plane when new listed the weights and arm of all installed
equipment, and would be the easiest source for the info. Unfortunately
this is often discarded by some owner as irrelevant. A duplicate can be
obtained from Beech. Possibly a prop shop would have the info.

The Type Certificate Data Sheet lists the prop as 54# with a note that the
spinner is not included in that weight. There are DOZENS of HC-M2Y series
props listed and they weight between 49 and 70# depending on the BLADES
that are installed. the weight I gave you is my best reading of the TCDS
based on the info you supplied.
