Once again the Smithsonian Air and Space, Udvar-Hazy center at Dulles Airport is throwing their big family party of the year, the Become a Pilot Day! My Sierra will once again be on display and this is a great way to celebrate and share the funof aviation. Usually about 15,000 people show up, many possible pilots to be with questions. If anyone wants to stop by and say HI it would be great. If anyone wants to sit down a while and share their experiences I could always use some help. Private email me if interested. As a volunteer at this event I have had the pleasure to meet many aviation greats. Breakfast with John and Martha King, Lunch with a reamining Tuskegee Airman, Sit and talk with famous aviators civilian and Military. I always come away feeling like I have helped some future pilot get enthused. I hope some of you can stop by. A great excuse to fly into Dulles also.
