    Palm Springs Fly-in October 26

Anybody interested in flying to Palm Springs? They have a fairly nice museum there. I recall, that a long time ago, they had a decent restaurant too. I haven't flown there since 1973, so things may have changed.

    Marty,
You are trying to sell this fly-in as if it were an old dishrag. Why not say...

Fly into beautiful Palm Springs before you can't. Beat the airport closure or the loss of your medical. Put this date on your calendar Month/Day/Year. It will be a day you'll never forget.
Be one of the first in the group to enjoy the magnificent aviation museum, unlike any other one in the world.
And for the gastronomic set we have arranged for an epicurian delight at the much acclaimed Martin V's Crankcase Restaurant right adjacent to the field.
Do not miss your chance to join your Beech friends in one of the most beautiful places in American... Palm Springs.
Contact Marty Vanover right now and get full details and big bag of shiny bolts for attending.

Is it still Cactus Jack's? If so, it's pretty good food.

    Very good museum.

My my corporate flying job takes me in and out of the valley all winter, although we fly into KTRM now. Probably starting in Novermber.

WHICH! Reminds me. There is a Aerobatic Sundowner in tie downs at Thermal. Is it's owner a member?

    Tom,

Now you know why I wasn't in Sales or Marketing. You forgot to mention the 8 gallon minimum fuel requirement to waive the ramp fee. Probably reasonable amount of gas, but with 100 LL going just North of $8.00/gallon at both FBOs, not much of a difference, except you do get some fuel. It has been brought to my attention the date conflicts with the Copperstate Fly-in at Cassa Grande, AZ. So, I'm going to withdraw the KPSP fly-in for now and change it to KCGZ. I'll post that in a minute.
