    donuts & landing gear repairs?

Do you know of a good source for the J bolts?

...pretty stock part - my A&E ordered them from his regular hardware supplier,

but I see that the new Donut supplier (AEC http://www.aec-inc.com/) is gonna

supply them at a discount if you buy the donuts.

and bushings and pins if needed?

...My guy just pushed out the pins (some needed done on a press) and buffed them

up - NO visible wear on them since they really don't move at all - but keep that

grease in there for smooth operation, right? (Now using Chevron #7 I think...)

I had the same problem with my centering cable that shows in your picture. My

mech got one made from a company in Atlanta that replaces rigging.

... Mike R was gonna fix mine for $25, but we bought new from RAPID to be sure to

get a Yellow Tag. That is a pretty important cable (but aren't they all?)

    Good luck!

    donuts & landing gear repairs?

Not so sure I agree Bill. After having my centering
cable all apart this spring, I think it is prossibly
the most non needed part on the whole plane.
Especially since mine had not actually been working
for who knows how many years.
