Our good friends at Avidyne and RG Aero have invited us into their shop for a presentation and comparison between Avidyne and Garmin Navigators. This event will be attended by some of the local Cirrus pilots will also be learning about the new Vantage 12″ screen Avidyne navigators. Our club members will be welcome into those discussions as well. The technicians at Avidyne will be making a hands-on demonstration of the Garmin systems head-to-head with the Avidyne units. Kevin, at RG Aero will also be discussing the installation comparisons of the two systems. Lunch will be provided from 11:00 and will be available up until 1:30. The GNS and IFD presentations and demos are from 11 to 1:30. The early bird Vantage session is from 9:30 to 11:00. Sheltair Aviation KPMP has waived the fees and will have fuel available, fuel purchase appreciated but not required.
