Mr. Clean Magic Eraser

With credits to John Rutkowski: I’m usually a skeptic about the wonders on modern chemistry, but I just found a product that does a great job on all of the accumulated grime on aircraft trim, knobs, handrests etc. It is the Mr. Clean Magic Eraser. You just use water, wring it out and it takes off stuff I was not able to get off with other cleaners. It’s really great on small pore surfaces like vinyl and ABS trim. Best part is you use just water, so it’s safe on the aluminum surfaces. You wring it out, rewet and make another cleaning pass. Dry off with a towel. Only downside is that you go through them fast.

The Magic Eraser looks just like a foam sponge with a very small cell structure. I went over my whole panel, vinyl seats and it’s amazing the amount of grime that comes off, even after the item was just cleaned with another cleaner. Later I applied it to the car’s armrests that I could never get clean enough, now they look like new. http://www.homemadesimple.com/mrclean/products/eraser.shtml I get mine at the local Costco in an 8 pack which makes them a lot cheaper. I have no financial interest in any of the above companies or products. Just something that makes my Beech shine!
