Seven Members Attend Nashua NH Fly-in

Flying between weather systems, seven BACers in 5 planes met for breakfast at Nashua New Hampshire. Organized only days before the Saturday February 4, 2006 date, the event brought together people who had never met and some who had corresponded but never got together face to face. It also had the good fortune of being held hours after and hours before nasty IFR weather in the New England area.In attendance were: Ken Kirkman and Tom Guarino flying out of Groton, Connecticut in Sierra N8020R; Steve Nelson and his kids in Sundowner N274CT based at North Central, Rhode Island; George Pillar owner of Sport N24597 flying with Bill McEnery in Sundowner N9158S from Willamantic, Connecticut; Steve Cote in Sundowner N1958L from Barnes Field in Holyoke, Massachusetts and Tom Corcoran of Braintree, Massachusetts in Sundowner N5162M.

The participants enjoyed breakfast together at the excellent on-field restaurant at KASH, viewed each other’s planes and talked endlessly about Beech aircraft. Nashua is a busy place as evidence by the wait to take the runway of 9 planes which had already completed run-up.

The result of the gathering will be BAC fly-ins at Willamantic and Groton. Watch the calendar.

Thank you for adding to the resources available for your Fellow BAC Members.
