I’m putting this on the home page so that everyone sees it. The short version is this afternoon I sent a short email to everyone’s current email as we have it with a subject of “BACeech Aero Club Email Validation” (so I had typing issues today 🙂 ). If you received this email you have nothing to do. If you didn’t please go into your profile (Site Menu->Member Info->My Account) and update your email.
On the site migration the test and development is intact and we still fully expect to make a transition Q1 of this year – but we’re shooting for sooner. More details on the forum topic…If you didn’t receive the email and your email address is correct please double check that your anti-spam software isn’t gobbling the email – add beechaeroclub.org to your “whitelist” if your anti-spam software supports it. If this fails please contact us and we’ll troubleshoot. We do follow anti-spam practices and periodically check that we are not on any spam lists but every once and a while a provider has issues.
While you are there at your profile please also double check and update any other contact information you have. A long term phone number is great as it gives a backup to email to try to reach you if you miss your email or have other problems. Lastly make sure your physical address is correct. The website database is also where we pull address information for sending out the print copy of BACTalk. If it is incorrect or incomplete you may have trouble getting your BACTalk.
Phone numbers and address details are private and only used by the club to contact you to serve you (such as sending your copy of BACTalk).
